LITTLE TOWN
BIG SPIRIT
Experience Canada Day weekend in the 1000 Islands with fantastic food, great entertainment, and lots of family fun.
The smallest community to host Ribfest in Canada welcomes over 19,000 visitors every year. The Rotary & Lions Clubs of Gananoque give 100 percent of proceeds back to the community. They support charities, families and students and lead projects that positively change Gananoque and the 1000 Islands area. 1000 Islands Family Ribfest is a safe and clean event that everyone can enjoy!

FAQS
We want to ensure your experience at our festival is a fabulous one.
These are some of the questions people ask most frequently that will help you prepare for your visit.
Can I bring my dog in?
Unfortunately, for health and safety reasons, we do not allow dogs into our venue with the exception of Service Animals. If you visit with other humans, you can take turns going into our venue while your pup lounges in the shade with a friend or family member. There a few locations just outside our venue with picnic tables and shade where you can enjoy meals together. Dogs left in vehicles will be monitored by town Emergency Service staff to ensure safe temperate and adequate water supply.
How much is admission?
There is a small $2 fee to enter the venue for most festival days. Cash is preferred. We may have tap for cards and digital wallets for admission in 2024. For cash withdrawals, there will be an ATM located by the beer tent. There is no admission fee to enter the venue on Monday, July 1st from 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. on Canada Day. For those wishing to add an additional contribution to the Rotary & Lions Club fundraiser there will be a donation jar at the front admissions gate.
Where can I park?
There are designated parking lots for the festival beside the Lou Jeffries Arena and ample parking near the venue. There is no fee for parking at the venue.
Is there accessible and handicapped parking?
Yes, designated areas are marked at the Lou Jeffries Arena.
What can I bring in?
Bags are permitted inside the venue but, for security purposes, they will be checked. No outside food, beverages or coolers are allowed at the festival.
There is no smoking is permitted on Ribfest grounds.
What happens if it rains?
We get wet and the festival goes on!
(But we're hoping for sunshine as usual.)
